Now this here is a really rare occasion. It's one thing for a normal blogger to show love to my movement, but when another artist actually takes the time to let another artist that's not on his team or affiliated with him in some way be featured on their site.....that's some shit for yo ass. All I can really say is that they must love me on the east coast as Maryland's own Jay Murda has now featured me on his site. Peep the post at the jump:

My newest feature comes from by close friend that I have met through music, but our relationship is now like a brotherhood. With that being said, there was no better way for him to start off his "official" mixtape than by us showing off our "big bro/lil bro" relationship with the track "Tell 'Em O". "Dragnet 1.0" Live on iTunes
At the moment, I am currently looking for a way to connect a iTunes widget with the site to make purchasing it easier. Until then, I will continue to post the links and i think i will now go through the widget at the top to distribute my music. However, I did want to let everyone know that "Dragnet 1.0" is now live on iTunes. Although the tape was originally released last year, every song on it was original and therefore timeless in my eyes. I guess you could say it was more like a "mix-album" in that sense. Anyway, if you support my music, I do hope that you will purchase the album, if not a single, and enjoy it.
You can get it off iTunes now and in the coming weeks it will be available on Amazon.com

Top 5 Dead Or Alive
Due to the current state of the rap game, there is alot of controversy over what it takes to be a good artist these days and sell records. "Hip Hop is Dead" is a subject that has sparked numerous conversations and debates over the past 4 years and after careful thought and numerous hours of jammin different artists here is my list of the top 5 artists and influences on music:
1. 2 Pac
2. Chamillionaire
3. Eminem
4. Jadakiss
5. Joe Budden
Now while this list may easily be put up for discussion and argument, I truly believe that all 5 of them experienced the amount of success that they have achieved do the simple fact that they have a way of easily making you feel their songs whether it be a club track, a story or just killing the song lyrically. These artists have some of the dopest rhymes to me and with that said, you will definitely hear their influences as I begin to release more and more music under the Rapper Genocide movement. Feedback welcome

The Final Chapter

Being that I have fully moved into a new chapter of my movement, I still had one project lingering that I wanted to drop before I officially went into Rapper Genocide mode. That final chapter is called "Don't Touch The Cage". I juggled doing the project with a few DJs who bullshitted me before hitting up DJ Controversy. Being one of the homies who has always kept it 100 with me on the business tip, I decided to let him steer the project. "Don't Touch The Cage" is a collection of songs and features that I have done throughout the course of recording for "Dragnet Unleashed", all on original beats. Of course you know that I am now recording for "Dragnet's Block" so I am sure to have a lot more new music coming your way soon. I just have to figure out what I'ma call the project. Just in case you are wondering, "Dragnet Unleashed" has officially been put on hold for the time being. There are a couple more projects that I want to drop to build my buzz a lil more before you get that treat. "Don't Touch The Cage" will be dropping soon. I will hit you with an official drop date as soon as I know that it is mixed.

Sneak Peek 'Dragnet's Block" Cover

As most of you know, I am in full launch of the new Rapper Genocide movement and am tentatively working on the first project to be released under the new imprint. "Dragnet's Block" will be the first in a number of EPs that I am working on as well as the first public launch of the movement. So....to make it more special I am hand drawing the cover myself to commemorate this special edition cd. There will only be a few of these covers that I will do like this and they will have a comic book look to empasize the fact that today the music industry is filled with comic rappers infesting the game. As I progress with the cover I will post more sneak peeks and ask for feedback. I hope you like this first look. Thanks

A Movement in Motion
Rapper - a person who chats or talks freely
Genocide - the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group
Welcome to the movement...for the past 2 years people have been saying that hip hop was dead due to the quality of the music that has reached the masses. Many argue that there is a lack of substance, lyricism and message in today's music therefore the art is losing it's true essence. I don't believe this is true....I believe that there are still a number of rappers who stick to the true meaning of what being a rapper meant from day one...to relay a message with substance. Although I cannot span the entire globe to find these rappers myself, I do hope that they will join my movement and together we can eradicate the game of the bubblegum/ring tone rappers that have taken the game by storm. Either follow the movement or join the resistance...there is no in between

Perished
Recently, it seems like a lot of people believe that I have changed in a span of 1 year...some are happy with this and some are not. When I sit back and look in retrospect at the things that I have done in the past 2 years since I have returned to Texas, I am proud of myself and also disappointed at the same time. I have achieved certain goals, but do to being sidetracked by a dream....I have failed at others....therefore...I am choosing to rectify this by removing myself from the lives of the people who knew the old me. I was doing everything for ya'll and now it is time to do what I want to do...to place myself in the position that I once had in Virginia and be the person that I can be happy with...if my new or current friends don't like me when I return from my solitude then I am truly sorry too....but fuck you...I have taken to deleting a number of people who didn't fuck with me from my phone as well as changing my number...only a small circle of people will have the new number and those are the people who I know I can depend on and who have never changed or flaked on me during anything...my phone and this blog will be the only way for people to reach me until I fully return...my facebook, twitter, myspace pages and all email and messenger accounts will be going down in the coming days and wont be back up til I return..."24, 23...ya'll niggas remember me"
